Turkey & Poland Meeting (Sedef, Tuba and Marlena) 8th February

 

On the 8th February, Marlena (Poland), Tuba / Sedef (both from Turkey) and their students had an online meeting together.

On the 8th of February, Sedef (Turkey), Tuba (Turkey) and Marlena (Poland) had an online meeting with their students.

At the beginning of our meeting, we -as teachers- introduced ourselves and then our students had the chance to introduce themselves. It was a great opportunity for our students to interact with partners from another city and country.

After introduction part, we had several activities for students about the topic "comparatives". First, they has a short survey on menti.com site and answered the question : "Which animal is bigger than a bird?" They wrote three animal names for this survey and we had a nice word cloud with their answers. After this activity, they watched an educative short video about comparatives just to remind the topic. Then, they had activities on wordwall site. They were really fun and helpful for the subject. They could learn better with the exercises in this international team.

At the end, they had a 10-minutes-quiz about comparatives. We had two online sessions on zoom (40+40 minutes). It was so lovely, exciting and educative meeting for us. We are happy to be a part of this project. Thank you dear partners.
