December Task: The third part of our e-storybook. (Osmanpaşa Secondary School/Yozgat-TURKEY)
Writing a story is all about an imagination and using the right words. My students imagined and trusted their vocabulary, while we were writing the third part of our e-storybook today. They were amazing. We used to write bad scenarios all the time, maybe because of our society; but this time I tried to convince my students to think positively. No, the bike will work well. No, our characters won't meet a bad man. In the end of our work, they convinced me to make it rain in the end of the picnic.
Today my students experienced writing a story in a harmony, using words in a logical order. First of all, we read the first and second parts of our story. Secondly, we searched for the last words of second part (Śmigus-dyngus) to start the third part. Thirdly, we looked at the details of the picture made by Yunus Emre İmam Hatip Secondary School students. Then, we started to write our part. For the second page, we chose a partner country to search its culture. After brainstorming and finding the pictures, we kept writing the second page of our part. It was an awesome experince! We can't wait to read the whole story!
