No Barriers for eTwinners

We had our project's first teachers' meeting on 30th October, 2020 (CET 8 pm.-9 pm.). We talked about our plans, aims and the importance of working collaboratively.

 Our first meeting 🇮🇹 and 🇹🇷  It was a nice experience for our students. They realized how important is language to communicate and understand each other. They are willing to meet again. It will help them to be less shy and to learn about other students cultures. Thanks for this opportunity! 🥰

I gave my students information about how to use LearningApps to create games. Then my students created games on LearningApps. They also played the games created by other students in the project.

We had an online meeting with our partner, Marie-Ange and her students & with our partner from Turkey, Ceyda and her students on 26 November, 2020. First, the teachers introduced themselves and their schools. Then we watched country introduction videos. Some of the students made presentations and gave some information about their country. Next, our students introduced themselves. They talked about their interests, favourite colours, favourite classes etc. After that, our students pronounced some common words in Turkish and French. Our students learned that Turkish and French had lots of words in common. It was an amazing experience for them. Finally, our students played on online game (using Quizizz). The game was about the country presentations and our project. They really enjoyed it. Our meeting ended with good wishes. It was an awesome meeting.

 

 

 

  Arzu, Tuba, Margherita and their students had an online meeting, introduced themselves one by one, had conversations and also learnt some words in their languages. It was an exciting and different experience for all of us.

 First online meeting with project partners! Turkish and Italian students had their first online meetings. My students were super excited to join such an enjoyable meeting. They loved to hear some Turkish words from their project partners and loved to say some words in İtalian. They're looking forward to meeting again!!

My students voted for the best of our school's posters using Google Forms. They also did the same for the best of our school's logo.

My team designed our school's bulletin board using the posters & logos they had prepared. They also used QR codes to let teachers, students and parents vote for the best school poster & logo.

I told my students how to use Canva for designing posters & logos and creating QR codes during an online class. Some of them used Canva, but some of the prefferred using PosterMyWall while designing their works.

Gamze KAYA/Osmanpaşa Secondary School Demet KOÇOĞLU / Mehmet Azman Çavuş Secondary School Waldemar CYMES / Szkoła Podstawowa im. gen Józefa Bema w Rzekuniu Yesterday (11th of November, 2020) it was one of the greatest day of my life. My students and I met Demet and Waldemar's students. It was a great experience for me and my pupils. My students and I were so excited since it is our first project. Teachers and students introduced themselves one by one. Students had so stylish masks! It was like a masquearade. We have learnt some Polish words "cześć" (hi), "jeść" (to eat) and "dzień dobry" (good morning). Demet, I and Turkish students tried to pronounce these words. We've had great time! Then Waldemar and Polish students tried to pronounce some Turkish words like "merhaba" (hello), "günaydın" (good morning) and "yemek" (to eat).  Our 5th graders came back to school today! We started to prepare our bulletin board.
